How to make a strop

Explains how to make an original strop that can be made simply by fixing a scrap of tanned leather to a thin board.
If you do strop, the sharpness of the knife will be refreshed, so we recommend this dish!

Preparation

• Prepare a wooden board with a width of about 2 to 3 cm on the sharpening surface.

Make

• 

  Cut out a wooden board.
  Although it is left as it is in the photo, it will be easier to use if you adjust the length and thickness of the handle by referring to the handle of the knife.

• 

  Nume leather is placed on a wooden board so that the floor surface (back side) is facing up, and the sides are nailed.
  Adjust the number of nails while checking the tension of the leather.

  Finally, it is completed by rubbing the blue stick.
