[There is an interview with a military curtain girl] Review of Polish military poncho tents. Includes a description of the military curtain, how to pitch it, how to bisect it, and how to match it with the Placiparatka.

Overview

Isn't there someone who envisions the Polish poncho tent as the No. 1 armor? It is a tent that is a royal road.
Even if you are not familiar with the military affairs, if you see the military affairs for the time being, you can say "I like Poland the most," he said.

A tipi-type one-pole tent, perfect for solo camps.
Since the material is cotton, it is heavy and bulky, but that is also the trendy part of cotton.
Cotton is a far-flung kappa, so even if you open a bonfire near the tent, it won't help.
People who use Polish tents have an image of a bonfire in front of the basic tent.

By the way, I often see that it doesn't burn because it's cotton, but it's just that it doesn't melt with sparks or heat.

Polyester is easy to catch fire and melt but does not spread easily. Cotton is hard to catch fire and does not melt but spreads easily.

I read that in old days. I've never heard of burning the army.

Yeah, there are no floors or meshes, so it's better to buy a mosquito net separately in places where insects are useless or where insects that do not care for the human body live.
I know a lot of people who have a date with Madani in a hospital, saying, "A man doesn't care about bugs."

Tent size

Actually, there are 3 sizes.。

  • I: 160cm to 170cm / 1 eyelet
  • Ⅱ: 170cm ~ 180cm / 2 eyelets
  • Ⅲ: 180cm-190cm / 3 eyelets

This size is the length when I wear it as a poncho.
So the tent looks like this too.

Regarding size, it may be good to see it because there are usage notes in Amazon reviews and questions.
SizeⅠSizeⅡSizeⅢ

The size is printed on the tag or the tent itself, but it is difficult to see or there is no tag, so it is said that "Those who care about the details do not use military products".
It is a morale specification that even if you buy a set of 2 discs, it is not necessarily the same age or the same size as it is 1 set for 2 more people.
What if the printing is completely different?
"Those who care about the details do not use military products".

There are eyelets under both ends of the poncho (the part where the peg is hit), and the number of eyelets varies depending on the size, so it may be possible to distinguish them.

I said that even if you buy a set of two, different sizes may come, but it seems that you can stretch even with different sizes. I don't know
It's different size, so it's slipped, but it's stretched at all "Those who care about the details do not use military products".

It's a poncho

Since it's called a poncho tent, it can be worn as rain gear (poncho).
Compared to other military ponchos, it is much easier to wear and convenient because you can put out your arms. (Plash-palatka can only put out one arm)

I have borrowed an image of Amazon

Then, make a pair of these ponchos and stick them together to complete the tent.
That's why the peg and pole are divided into two groups, and a set of two people is brought together to form a tent.

Waterproof

It's about poncho so it's water repellent.
I will explain it in the "tensioning" below, but it is possible to work together so that water does not enter, and is it waxed for the time being?
Even though it is water repellent, it's been a long time ago, so please think that the basic water repellency is weak.

If you're interested in it, you can ask Google Sensei, "Cotton wax," so you can do waxing yourself.
Probably all wax is applied and melted (permeated) with a heat gun or iron to complete.
However, it is a painstaking task, and if you start doing it lightly, you will not be able to go back.

Even if it says, if the water repellent function deteriorates, it will stain locally.
If you haven't waxed it, be careful not to install a waterproof object on the top of the tent at least on a pouring day, or it may drip down. Tarp is ideal, but you can equip it with vinyl sheet or kappa.
If you protect even the top, it's rare to touch the body even if it rains, so it's safe for the time being.

I also put a video that shows the difficulty. From about 4 minutes

Tent tensioning

It's pretty good.
It's good to be crisp and crisp, but I personally like the one that is stretched by a textist.

Maybe everyone thinks there are various ways to stretch, but after hitting a few pegs lightly, sticking the poles and pulling the tent, the pegs are struck again. I wonder if that
It may be more careful to stop the two pieces together than to set up the tent.
For waterproofing, the button has 2 holes and the ceiling is turned inside out.

If you don't worry about the ceiling part, you will put a pole between the two parts (first image), but officially insert the pole in the opposite direction. The correct answer is to turn it over to 2 sheets (3rd image).
It feels like the yellow circle on the second image is at the top.

image photoimage photoimage photo

It feels like turning it over, but I noticed that I could stretch it without any discomfort when I stopped it by inserting two holes so that the button sandwiches the flap.
I tried shooting a video.

image photo

The thing that sells back is that it prevents flooding from above, and by sandwiching the flap, you can also prevent flooding from the side.

Outside Inside

Actually, there are two sides in the Polish army, but there are many people who do not care because it does not make a difference whether it is upside down, or even if it is set up, it rains enough Surpass.
If you look at SNS, it doesn't make much difference that everyone in the world is cluttered.
But looking at the hole through which the arm passes, it is obvious that the flap is attached to the outside to prevent rain from entering.

image photoimage photo

By the way, the one with a double structure on the shoulder is something that prevents it from being worn away by friction when worn as a poncho.
As explained in the section on waterproofness, it is water-repellent but because it is a wet cloth, it also has meaning as waterproof reinforcement on the shoulder where water easily collects.
If you understand the meaning, you can tell what's inside.

Bungee code

When hitting a peg bungee code Some people hook it and use it Not at all.
The bungee cord is especially convenient for people who often open and close the door.

image photo

If you insert a peg in the end, you have to hit the peg every time you open and close the door. You can easily open and close the door because it can be fixed just by changing the rubber.

If you use bungee code, some people dislike it because there is a gap underneath, but if you arrange stones or trees, the gap will be solved.
In summer, I sprayed insect repellent sprays on the trees that were lined up in the summer to make it a must-have item as an insect guard.

image photo

There's a gap in the back. This is blown by the wind, so there is an extreme gap, but it looks like this.
Some people like the tent because it doesn't touch the ground so it doesn't get dirty.

Personally, I often use a fallen tree or something other than the attached pole to stand or set it wide and low, so even if the top and bottom and the size change, the rubber stretches and is not enough. I like being able to make up for it and set up normally.

Paul bifurcation

By making or buying your own, you can use the pole extensively by bifurcating the pole. I also used trees that are falling.
If you want to put in a cot, you may not be able to enter it unless there is a high probability of bifurcation.
Centre poles will fit in depending on how the tent is stretched, but I think everyone is bifurcated.

This is a fallen tree and is forked and stretched. This is a fallen tree and is forked and stretched.
This is a fallen tree and is forked and stretched.

It's a simple tennis ball, just make two holes and stab a pole.
Even if it's not a tennis ball, you can do anything with a ball of that size.

There are also people who hang the ceiling from a tripod or ridgeline.
Tripod is a thing that often hangs in a Dutch oven. A method of making a tripod with a fallen tree and hanging the tent ceiling.
The ridge line is a method of hanging the tent ceiling on a tree that is made by making ropes and connecting the trees with a rope.

Plasi Palatka

Prasiparatoka is the Soviet poncho tent Then, it is said that it is a poncho tent, but it is a poor cloth with poor dexterity.
Perhaps few people use it as a tent or poncho, and it is often used as a tarp.

Use one to tarp
Use one to tarp

By the way, if you stretch the tent like this so that it covers the tent, it will prevent the tent from getting hot in the direct sunlight in the summer and freeze the tent in the winter. It will prevent you.

Similar to Plasparatka East German Army Shelter Half Poncho There is also a tent
You can also use two of them and combine them with a Polish army tent to make a Pap tent.

Do not worry about how to stretchDo not worry about how to stretch

Just join Prasipratka to the joint of the Polish tent. Even if I say
, there are only about three button holes, so it is necessary to install a new button hole or button.
Although it is possible to combine only three as it is. Sometimes I used one in the rain without stopping the buttons.

After tarp clip I made jeans tuck and removable button, but I haven't used it yet ..

Ah, you'll need four poles to set up.
Cotton: 4 pieces of cloth, 4 poles, and pegs are required, and they are quite bulky.
It will surely become wider, but it may be costly if it is not a person to use the entire tent within 1 hectare?

Plash-palatka

Plash-palatka is a Soviet poncho tent, which is often called a poncho tent. It is a poorly used cloth with poor dexterity.
Perhaps few people use it as a tent or poncho, and it is often used as a tarp.

Not just Prasipharatka, but East German Shelter Half You can also use it as a Pap tent by using two poncho tents of the name and combining them with a Polish army tent.

How to fold a Polish tent

There's nothing wrong with how to fold it, but here's how to fold it cleanly, which has been introduced in various places.
The kind of "wrap around and stop" that you often see when folding life hack clothes.

Even if I explain the method in text, I do not understand anything, so please check the video posted on Twitter.
Maybe you can understand this.

By the way, if you change the first folding method, the finished size will also change, so find the folding method you like.
In the video, you can wrap it in three folds to get a thick and short finish, and first fold it in half vertically (to make it rectangular) and then fold it in three to make a slender finish.

Also, this is not only a Polish tent, but a plastic palatka that can be used for anything.
If you can "wrap and stop", you can do anything with tarps or clothes.

Army woman

Recently, due to the camp boom, it is also popular with women. Even on SNS, #Gakujaku Girls have hashtags, and it seems that they are on the verge of being nominated for the buzzword award.
Someone who has a sharp and wild taste, and one who is stylish and feminine. Is it Utopia?
It's really cool to have a cute charm (vocabulary).
After all, the impression is that there are many Polish armed forces. I would like to ask about the circumstances that led to the selection of the military affairs.
