Camp terms starting with KO

Gore Tex
A fabric with high waterproofness and moisture permeability (performance that allows sweat to escape) that is often used in outdoor wear.

Cotton
It is used for tents, etc. It is a versatile fabric that can be used in both summer and winter because it is cooler than polyester tents with good breathability and keeps the inside of the tent warm with good heat insulation.

Another name for polycotton, a name that takes the initials of Tetoron / Cotton.
Tetoron is a polyester brand name jointly launched by Teijin and Toray.

A material in which the surface of metal is coated with glass. Since it is made of metal, it does not crack and can be directly heated.

Polycotton
A fabric that is a blend of polyester and cotton. It's heavier than polyester, but it's more resistant to sparks.
Mainly used in tents and tarps.

60/40 cross
Developed by Sierra Designs, this fabric is a blend of 60% cotton and 40% nylon. Mainly used for outdoor wear.
