90 degree latch

A notch that cuts one side of V notch at a right angle.Mainly used as a trap trigger.

Use

A notch used to trigger traps.
Some people also use it for pot hangers, but in that case, the pot hook notch and bow notch are easier to use.

How to make

• Process 1

  Insert the blade straight and make a cut.
  Raise and lower the tip of the knife like a seesaw to get deeper, instead of pressing it down or moving it back and forth like a saw.

• Process 2

  Insert the blade diagonally toward the bottom of the cut in step 1.

• Process 3

  Repeat steps 1 and 2 to deepen the groove.

Important point

Don't try to finish it in one go, try to finish it in multiple cuts.
