Round reduction

A cut that puts out a round bar.It is used when thinning a tree with holes.

Use

Used as a handle to be inserted into a drill or as a stake to be inserted into a drilled hole.

How to make

• Process 1

  Apply the blade to the branch and make one lap to make a notch.
  It is easy to cut by pressing the blade and turning the branch.

• Process 2

  Make the same cuts as in step 1 with a gap.

• Process 3

  Cut horizontally between steps 1 and 2.
  It is easy to cut if you split it.

• Process 4

  Cut in the same way as in step 3 so as to eliminate the corners that appeared in step 3.

Important point

You can easily cut it by making it into a 6- to 7-sided shape first, without making it round from the beginning, and then cutting it in a way that cuts off the corners.
